Freelance photographer Claudia Retter was born in Germany, grew up in New England, and currently resides in Columbus, Ohio. "My love of travel leads me to discover a unifying thread of spirit in many different places. Whether photographing in my own backyard or in another country, I am drawn to the mood and hidden story connecting landscape, architecture, places and people. I believe that by paying kind attention, by reaching out to what we see, we experience moments of grace which bring to our awareness the inherent sense of mystery in all things."
