Art festival news...

Catching up... here's a photo of my booth at last fall's ART FAIR IN YELLOW SPRINGS. What a great first experience doing a festival. A big thank you to everyone who helped in one way or another: John & the kids, Vicki & Tom, and Lisa & Clay for all their help with building, lending me tools & trucks, and setting up & taking down... to Lisa Goldberg for putting together a great event... and especially to all the folks who stopped by to visit. It was wonderful to see old friends, make new ones, and be inspired by the work of other exhibiting artists. Hopefully I'll be able to set up shop again this year.

This spring's news is that I was accepted into the big COLUMBUS ARTS FESTIVAL!! Very excited about this. I'll be at the riverfront in booth 80R from June 7 through the 9th. More details to come.

Cover shot!

My photograph of Amy Lee made the cover of Columbus Bride...what an honor! Of course, she is holding one of Mikelle Hickman-Romine's fabulous bouquets.

Congratulations to my couples who made it into the fall/winter issue...

Emma and KC who are coming up on their first anniversary!

Karolyn and Matt, who had lovely things to say about my work in one of the photo articles - thanks, guys!

Amy Lee and Andre, who introduced me to red velvet cake. Yum!

Liz and Chris, who landed one of the "local weddings" pages - yay!

And Juli & Tim, whose story is an inspiration for my own life.

Velvet winter.

The weather hasn't been too good for flying, but it's been wonderful for cross-country skiing. I've always wanted to ski. You'd think having lived in Vermont that I would have spent some time on skis, but no. Thank you, ALFA SPORT, on Henderson Road, for your rental department! This and the two posts below are all from skiing adventures (or the drive to get to them): Darby Creek, Prairie Oaks, Glacier Ridge, and Highbanks.
